1. The title of the book is Getting to Happy, does that mean they weren't happy in Waiting toExhale? Explain.
2. What did the title Getting to Happy really mean to you?
3.  Were the characters happier than when we first met them in Waiting to Exhale?  Is this significant to you?
4. What did you find Robin's men problems were a result of?
5. What did you think of Sparrow? Was Robin's relationship with her daughter troubling to you?
6. Gloria's son seemed to adore his wife prior to finding out she cheated with her ex, but once he found out she cheated reveiled his true feeling of her. Do you think many men hide their true feelings about their partners with family and friends, and if so why do you feel this way?
7. Bernadine, seems to never catch a break. Do you think like Bernadine we are responsible for our own outcome?
8. Savannah, seemed to take ownership of her own happiness, but still reflected a negative attitude towards anyone in her path?  Do you think this was a result of her mother's influence?
